As a Baltimore native, Earl, grew up supporting the Colts until the team left town during the Mayflower Exodus of 1984. He quickly supported the return of the NFL when the Ravens came to town. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a degree in Psychology. Father to Justin, Nomi and the family's fur-baby named Halo, Earl is committed to his family and community.
With over two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Earl Shorter’s charismatic approach to financial coaching empowers his clients to manage their money to achieve their dreams. He’s a conscientious financial professional with an extensive background in retirement savings, insurance, financial management, and in-the-trenches business and leadership experience.
Earl advises small businesses, individuals and families and provides them with a personalized experience. Earl employs a goal-based approach and primarily focuses on financial freedom, education planning, risk management, and small business planning. He works closely with clients by defining what matters most, prioritizing their goals and creating a clear vision and plan. He currently holds his Series 6, 7 and 63 FINRA licenses and Life/Health Insurance licenses.
While he often wears a bowtie, he’s not just another suit and tie. He shares his knowledge of wealth accumulation and tax strategies with his clients and is driven by a deep desire to educate and serve his client. Earl has always enjoyed educating and helping others and leverages this passion to help his clients feel more confident about their financial future.
